Kanyakumari Bridge

Located some distance away from Kanyakumari is the famous Mathur hanging bridge, that you can include in your sightseeing tour of nearby places.

This Kanyakumari bridge is a trough bridge that connects two hills to each other and passes over the Parazhiyar river. It is considered to Asia's longest and tallest trough bridge having a length of about 1 km, and is about 115 feet tall.

This bridge at Kanyakumari (called the Mathur hanging bridge) was built in the year 1970.
